Gold Coast International Sevens - Rugby Ink to Sponsor

In response to the recent tradgedy in the South Pacific islands of Samoa, a unified group of top level rugby players have been brought together to participate in the Gold Coast Sevens rugby tournament in benefit of the Samoan relief efforts.  Etu Karifi (EtuLife.com), originally from Samoa, and Ben Gollings (England 7s #10 and the world's leading point scorer in sevens rugby) have organized the group of elite players from Samoa, Fiji, and Australia to debut a new breed of an international touring 7s team at the Gold Coast Sevens event on November 7th and 8th in Australia.

A collective of groups in the business and rugby world have contributed greatly in order to make this all happen.  The Paradise Island Resort on the Gold Coast (www.paradiseislandresort.com.au) is supplying accommodations for the team during the festivities and Virgin Blue (www.virginblue.com.au) is rounding up travel for the team.  Rugby Ink (www.rugbyink.com) has become the official kit sponsor and supplier to the newly formed international sevens team and will debut a new line of kit at the event, designed in representation of Samoan heritage.
